Claystation 04
23.09.2004 - 26.09.2004
designersblock, Farmiloes Building, London
Following the success of Claystation 03, a new version was developed for designersblock London 2004, at the Farmiloes Building, St John Street, Clerkenwell EC1, 23rd - 26th September, 2004, as part of the London Design Festival 2004.
The title of this year's event was 'Remodelling London:' On a scale model of the city, the format took on an architectural spin as we invited wannabe Fosters and Wrens to indulge their fantasies in the creation of a new London cityscape. The event was filmed in Stop-Motion as before.
Thanks very much to everyone that took part.
The event was a huge success, with over 400 people spending an average of 20 minutes contributing work during the four days of the exhibition. You can see images of the even below, images of the set-up here, and some quicktime movies here.
There is also a stop-motion animation of the landscape taking shape. This has been shown at various conferences and film festivals, and will be shown at future events.
