The Claystation / Porter International "My-Bag" project rolled into New York and the International Furniture Fair (ICFF), May 19th-22nd, for the third installment of the project - a series of events leading to the production of a Global Tote Bag.


During this fun, interactive event, visitors were invited to draw their belongings on a template of a bag.


The judge for the New York exhibition was Constantin Boym.


The 20 winners received a limited edition Porter International tote bag,


The overall winner will have their design printed on a specially designed reversible tote bag.

Thanks to everyone who came along. We had thousands of visitors and over 300 bags created! First Prize Shusei Sugawara Praised by Constantin for its vibrant style and combination or reality and fantasy. Thanks to our judge, Constantin Boym, and to Natalie Jeremijenko. Thanks to the team: Erika Carmichael, Ya-Fen Chen, Kris Drury, Beth Fuller, Chetan Mangat, Kat Melan, Jen Refat.

Our products have always had a big following with the design community; this is a fun way to include our consumers in the development of a new product, and also to learn something about how people's personal belongings differ around the world.”
